The Financial Services Authority has restructured Rp17.4 trillion in credit for around 279,000 customer accounts hit by disasters in three Sumatra provinces as of March 2026.
OJK Chairman Friderica Widyasari Dewi announced the figures during a press conference of the Financial System Stability Committee in Jakarta on Thursday. The amount rose from Rp16.3 trillion in February.
The policy runs for three years from its designation on December 10, 2025. It refers to OJK Regulation Number 19 of 2022 on special treatment for financial service institutions in disaster-affected areas and sectors.
Friderica also reported that banking intermediation performance remained positive. Bank credit grew 9.49 percent year-on-year to Rp8,659 trillion as of March 2026, with a gross Non-Performing Loan ratio of 2.1 percent.
