Dustin Joel Walker was sentenced to life in prison plus 42 years for sexually abusing his 11-year-old stepdaughter and forcing her to give birth at home without medical care.
Muskogee County District Judge Timothy King handed down the sentence on Monday. Walker, 35, must serve the 42 years for six counts of child neglect before beginning the life term for one count of sexual abuse of a child under 12.
Walker pleaded guilty in March to all seven counts in a blind plea. DNA tests showed a 99 percent certainty that he is the father of the infant, Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson said.
The girl gave birth to a full-term baby inside the home in 2025 after receiving no prenatal care. She had not seen a doctor in more than a year before the delivery.
Her biological mother, Cherie Walker, is set to go on trial on July 13. The victim's maternal grandmother, Michelle Justus, has also been charged in the case.
