One person detained on suspicion of rape during Gothia Cup

Two suspected rapes have been reported during Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, one involving a child. One person has been detained.

Police spokesperson Tamara Fuentes confirmed that one person is detained on suspicion of one of the rapes. The investigation is ongoing.

The second case involves rape against a child and unlawful privacy intrusion. No suspects have been detained in that matter. Several reports of fights and assaults have also been filed during the tournament.
