The central board of Golkar's youth wing closed its third wave of national youth cadre training in 2026 with a symbolic tree planting in Jakarta.
The closing ceremony took place on Sunday, 12 July 2026, at the courtyard of the Golkar Party's central office. It marked the end of a five-day training attended by delegates from 36 provinces.
PP AMPG chairman Said Aldi said the planting of 444,444 trees will continue through AMPG boards at provincial, district, and village levels. He described the move as a concrete contribution to address floods and environmental degradation.
The seedlings include banyan trees as the Golkar Party symbol along with meranti, mahogany, and Musang King durian. The initiative aligns with Golkar Party chairman Bahlil Lahadalia's directive for party wings to deliver programs with direct community impact.
