Three people died and one police officer was wounded during a shooting in Sandy, Oregon, on Sunday afternoon. Authorities arrested a suspect hours later and said the community faced no ongoing threat.
Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and shooting in the city of Sandy, east of Portland, around 4 p.m. PT. Officers and Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies came under fire and returned shots, according to Sandy Police Chief Patrick Huskey. Three people were killed in the incident.
