La Glorieta La Minerva in Guadalajara will have traffic closures starting June 23 due to 2026 FIFA World Cup events and a free Alejandro Fernández concert on June 25.
The Government of Jalisco confirmed that the area will host fan gatherings and screens to watch matches such as Colombia versus the Republic of Congo on June 23 and Mexico versus Chequia on June 24.
The Secretaría de Transporte Jalisco said closures begin at 4:00 p.m. on June 23 and 24 and last all day on June 25 for the Alejandro Fernández concert.
Affected roads include Avenida Ignacio L. Vallarta and lanes around La Minerva. Authorities recommend alternate routes such as Avenida Niños Héroes and Avenida Hidalgo.
Some public transport routes will also be diverted during security operations.
