The FIFA Fan Fest at Mexico City's Zócalo will kick off on June 11 with a free Banda El Recodo concert after the Mexico vs South Africa match.
The event will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, at Plaza de la Constitución. It will broadcast 104 World Cup matches on a giant screen, with free entry and activities including concerts, gastronomic experiences, and interactive football zones. Banda El Recodo will perform after the Mexico vs South Africa match, scheduled for 13:00 at Estadio Ciudad de México. The Fan Fest will open that day from 10:00 to 22:30. FIFA described the venue as the “Templo Mayor del Futbol”. Mexico is hosting the tournament for the third time in its history, following the 1970 and 1986 editions.
