Mikayla Kloth, 27, faces a first-degree intentional homicide charge after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Lukas Rosch, 25, to death during an argument over dinner plans in Lac La Belle, Wisconsin. The incident occurred Friday night at her apartment, where Rosch arrived with chicken drumsticks instead of going out as she wanted. Rosch was pronounced dead at a hospital after suffering a chest wound.
Prosecutors detailed the events in a criminal complaint. Kloth wanted to go out to dinner, but Rosch showed up with chicken drumsticks, seasoning, and plans to use her air fryer. The disagreement turned heated, with Rosch grabbing a knife by its blade. Kloth then pushed the knife into his chest, piercing his heart, according to the complaint cited by local outlets WISN and WITI. First responders found Rosch on the floor and Kloth admitted, 'No, I did stab him,' when asked about a struggle. Rosch was rushed to a hospital but did not survive. Kloth remained talkative en route to the station, saying she 'should have just gone to the bar' and that 'the whole thing was irritating.' She added that Rosch's parents 'didn't hate her before, they will hate her now,' and remarked, 'if they had to lock her up, that was cool.' A neighbor and the landlord reported speaking with Rosch a week earlier. He expressed fear of Kloth, noting she had bitten his thumb, and asked the woman to record his full name 'in case something ever happens to me.' Kloth appeared in Waukesha County court on Monday, where her bond was set at $2 million cash. She remains in Waukesha County Jail and is next due in court on May 29.
