Alyssa Hill, a 27-year-old mother of two, was fatally stabbed by her ex-boyfriend while working at a Skyline Chili restaurant in Norwood, Ohio.
The attack occurred on Tuesday when Rick Wright, 37, entered the restaurant and stabbed Hill in the back and chest in front of customers and staff. Hill was taken to a hospital but did not survive. A 911 caller described the scene, saying a customer had stabbed a waitress and that she had a knife in her back. Wright was arrested at the scene and appeared in court on Wednesday. Hamilton County prosecutor Sarah McMahon told the judge that Wright has a history of violence, including prior convictions for assault and other crimes. He was ordered held without bail. Friends of Hill said the pair dated briefly before she ended the relationship and moved to a different part of town. They had not spoken for over a year.
