Actor Patrik Machado, aged 32, was found dead in a motel room in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, early Friday morning. Civil police are investigating the circumstances.
Machado entered the motel accompanied by two men. The companions left the premises hours later. A reception employee called the room and Machado confirmed he would stay longer. Motel staff entered the room after further calls went unanswered and found the body. Forensics collected evidence at the scene and the body was sent to the local medical legal institute. Civil police are seeking the two men for statements. Machado also worked at the 5th Notary Office, Cartório Cidade Morena, which issued a note of condolence.
