Addis Ababa mayor commits to serving people with sincerity

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie said the administration will serve residents by fulfilling its responsibilities with truth, diligence, and sincerity. In a social media post she thanked the Prosperity Party and private sector partners.

The mayor made the remarks in a June 26 social media message. She noted that the Prosperity Party has designed policies to build the country and benefit all Ethiopians.

She described the recent election as a task of strengthening the nation beyond securing a majority of votes. The public’s determination for democracy, development, and lasting peace has placed a great responsibility on the party, she added.

The party believes in a strong partnership with the private sector and will continue to support its efforts to build the country through cooperation.
