All Elite Wrestling will hold a special Rebel Heart Dynamite event on September 9 at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia. The show honors wrestler Rebel, who was diagnosed with ALS in March 2026, and will raise funds for I AM ALS and Team Gleason.
AEW made the announcement on July 27. Rebel, whose real name is Tanea Brooks, is scheduled to appear. Fans in attendance will receive a limited edition Rebel trading card sheet from Upper Deck while supplies last.
The company will donate proceeds from the event to I AM ALS, where Rebel serves as a spokesperson, and to Team Gleason. AEW is also selling Rebel Heart t-shirts and bracelets, with all proceeds going to the same organizations.
Tony Khan said, "On behalf of everyone at All Elite Wrestling, we are proud to present AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite on September 9 at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, GA. We look forward to honoring Rebel while also raising awareness and donations for two incredible organizations that are on the front lines of finding a cure for ALS and improving life for people affected by this terrible disease."
The Akins Ford Arena serves as the community home of the University of Georgia's Regenerative Bioscience Center, which conducts ALS research. Several AEW wrestlers, including Britt Baker, have taken part in the revived Ice Bucket Challenge.
