Alana Haim created custom screen-printed shirts for Taylor Swift and friends to wear at Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
The shirts were worn at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks versus Spurs matchup. Swift's shirt read “Stevie Knicks,” while Este Haim wore one saying “Knickelback,” Alana Haim had “Knickole Kidman,” and Danielle Haim wore “Knickolas Cage.” Mariska Hargitay also received a matching “Stevie Knicks” shirt.
Haim purchased royal blue Gildan shirts from Michael’s for $2.99 each. She applied Speedball orange screen-printing ink with puff additive using a home setup that includes a Cricut machine. The designs were made after Swift texted Haim requesting a shirt for the game.
In an interview, Haim described the activity as a creative outlet and said she often makes shirts for friends. She noted the group wanted to have fun with puns and that extras were brought to share.
