Avicii Arena markerer femårsjubilæum med stor korkoncert

Avicii Arena i Stockholm markerer sin femårsdag den 19. maj med en stor korkoncert, der samler 3.333 elever. Skuespilleren Emma Peters er vært ved arrangementet, der beskrives som den største korkoncert i Sverige i 33 år.

For fem år siden skiftede Globen-arenaen officielt navn til Avicii Arena efter musikeren Tim Bergling. Jubilæet fejres nu med arrangementet Together in Tune på spillestedet.

Tim Bergling Foundation står bag initiativet, der arbejder mod psykisk sygdom. Emma Peters understregede vigtigheden af at lade de unge opleve en professionel sceneoptræden.

Peters bemærkede, at hun selv sang i et tilsvarende kor for 33 år siden, da 4.000 elever fejrede det nybyggede Globen i 1993. Hun ser frem til fællessangen med publikum.

Antallet af deltagere kan variere en smule, men ligger ifølge arrangørerne på omkring 3.333 elever.
