Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour has become the highest-grossing tour ever to skip the United States, pushing his career touring revenue past $1 billion.
The tour, which featured stadium shows across South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe, has so far grossed $360 million from 2.4 million tickets sold. This includes a 10-date residency in Madrid. Those numbers exceed his previous World’s Hottest Tour, which earned $314.4 million and sold 1.9 million tickets.
Billboard Boxscore data shows Bad Bunny is the first Latin artist and first non-English-language performer to surpass $1 billion in touring revenue. Fewer than 25 acts overall have reached the milestone. The tour also outpaced earlier non-U.S. outings by Take That and the Rolling Stones.
Last September the artist explained his decision to avoid the United States, citing concerns over immigration enforcement. He did perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in Santa Clara, California, in February, which drew 137.8 million viewers.
