Battlefield 6 Season 4 to add two-seater jets and naval warfare

Battlefield Studios has unveiled the first details for Season 4 of Battlefield 6. The update, set to launch on July 21, introduces naval combat and revives two-seater jets last seen in Battlefield 2.

The studio released a trailer showing two new water vehicles: the RCB-90 Patrol Boat and the 7.7m NSW RHIB light transport boat. Much of the footage is set on the new Tsuru Reef map, which will be the largest in the game.

Season 4 will also add four new weapons, including the Interdictor sniper rifle. The second phase of the season will bring the Wake Island map.

The trailer highlights the return of two-seater fixed-wing jets, the F/A-18 Super Hornet and the F-14 Tomcat. Battlefield Studios is teasing a Top Gun crossover tied to the Tomcat.

More details and a full roadmap for Season 4 will be shared later this week.
