Battlefield Studiosは、Battlefield 6のシーズン4に関する最初の詳細を発表した。7月21日に配信予定のこのアップデートでは、海戦が導入されるほか、Battlefield 2以来となる二人乗りジェット機が復活する。
同スタジオが公開したトレーラーでは、RCB-90哨戒艇と7.7m NSW RHIB軽輸送ボートという2つの新しい水上車両が披露された。映像の多くは、ゲーム内で最大規模となる新しいマップ「Tsuru Reef」を舞台としている。
シーズン4では、Interdictorスナイパーライフルを含む4つの新しい武器も追加される。シーズン後半には「Wake Island」マップが登場する予定だ。
トレーラーでは、二人乗りの固定翼ジェット機であるF/A-18スーパーホーネットとF-14トムキャットの復活が強調されている。Battlefield Studiosは、F-14トムキャットに関連した「トップガン」とのクロスオーバーをほのめかしている。
