BJP president Nitin Nabin criticizes Punjab government over law and order issues

BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Monday criticized the Punjab government for deteriorating law and order, gangsterism, drug problems and youth migration.

Speaking in Ludhiana during a three-day visit to Punjab ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls, Nitin Nabin addressed state office-bearers, MPs, MLAs and district presidents.

He said BJP workers must work to establish a double engine government to address these challenges, drawing a parallel to efforts in West Bengal.

Nabin described a government plus corporate culture in Punjab, where people are allegedly forced to pay for legitimate work, and called for a statewide campaign against the drug network.

He stressed that expanding the party organization is a collective responsibility of all leaders.
