Brandon Flowers has announced a headline tour across the UK, Ireland and North America to support his upcoming solo album Thrasher. The Killers frontman will perform in multiple cities this autumn following the album's August 21 release.
Flowers revealed the tour dates on June 24. The run includes a show at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 15, marking his first full performance there since The Killers' 2009 concerts.
The album Thrasher, his third solo release and first since 2015, is set for August 21 via Island Records. Its lead single Plans is scheduled to arrive on June 26. Nashville musicians including David Rawlings, Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy appear on the record.
Tickets for UK and Ireland dates go on general sale July 3, with a presale for album pre-orderers starting July 1. North American presale begins June 25 and general sale follows on June 26.
Flowers discussed the project in a prior interview, noting inspiration from Bruce Springsteen to write about personal experiences. He also mentioned two upcoming Southwest-themed solo records before the next Killers album.
