Following its March 20 release, BTS's 'Arirang' topped Billboard's weekly fan-voted poll for favorite new music with 94% of votes, outperforming singles from Niall Horan, Lizzo, and others.
BTS's fifth studio album 'Arirang', released on March 20 after the group's military service hiatus, has resonated strongly with fans. In Billboard's poll published that Friday, it secured 94% of votes by Sunday, surpassing Niall Horan’s “Dinner Party,” Lizzo’s “Don’t Make Me Love U,” Paris Paloma’s “Miyazaki,” and Dermot Kennedy’s “Honest.”
The 14-track album, featuring producers including Diplo, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Ryan Tedder, marks BTS's first full group project since 'BE' in 2020. Alongside the release, the group dropped a music video for title track “Swim,” co-starring Lili Reinhart and directed by Tanu Muiño. A stadium world tour is set to kick off in April.
