Capcom shared new information on the Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion during a showcase on June 26. The DLC is set to release on October 9, 2026, and introduces a new region along with updates to the base game.
The expansion features Kento Kinoshita returning as director. It adds the new region of Norgan, where players can find armor and weapon relics with special effects.
Additions to the base game include new hairstyles, tattoos, and 12 unique dungeons. An August update will bring bug fixes, UI improvements, performance enhancements, pawn adjustments, and two new weapon skill slots.
The update also addresses the Dragonsplague mechanic with a new item called the Dragonsbaulk Draught for treatment. The story centers on the Fallen Dragon and a character named Eir.
Players can expect new customization options, abilities, and enemies including a yeti-like monster that can be climbed during combat.
