CDU's økonomiske fløj bakker op om Reiche i konflikt med Merz

CDU's økonomiske fløj har samlet sig bag økonomiminister Katherina Reiche efter hendes offentlige sammenstød med SPD-vicekansler Lars Klingbeil om energipolitikken. Økonomiminister Katherina Reiche indtog fredag en konfronterende holdning over for vicekansler og SPD-finansminister Lars Klingbeil i koalitionsstriden om høje brændstofpriser og energipolitik. "Koalitionspartneren har for nylig været kendt for at fremlægge forslag, der er dyre, ineffektive og forfatningsmæssigt tvivlsomme," sagde hun.

Kansler Friedrich Merz var ifølge kilder tæt på ham "befremdet" over den offentlige udveksling og opfordrede Reiche til at udvise tilbageholdenhed. Han havde givet Klingbeil og Reiche til opgave at udvikle et fælles forslag til at håndtere de høje energipriser. Regeringen planlægger et seminar for at samordne den sort-røde koalition.

Christian von Stetten, formand for CDU/CSU-parlamentsgruppens Mittelstand-cirkel, bakkede op om Reiche: "Ministeren har fuldstændig ret i substansen og modtager stærk støtte fra parlamentsgruppen." Johannes Winkel fra Junge Union roste hende som "den sociale markedsøkonomis stemme."

Christian Bäumler fra CDU's sociale fløj krævede oprindeligt Reiches afskedigelse, men trak kravet tilbage. CDA-leder Dennis Radtke understregede behovet for debatter frem for personalediskussioner.
