Developer NC adjusted the PC specs for its upcoming online co-op shooter Cinder City following player feedback on its Steam page.
The game had initially listed 32GB of RAM as minimum and 64GB as recommended. This drew attention amid ongoing high prices for memory components.
The developer posted a statement on the Steam page admitting the error. It updated the listing to recommend 32GB of RAM for both minimum and recommended specifications.
The statement noted that requirements are based on the current development build and could decrease with further optimisation before launch. It added that updated specs will be shared closer to release.
After the RAM change, the recommended GPU was also increased from an RTX 4060 to an RTX 4070. Cinder City has no release date yet.
