Daniela Diaz tager skridt mod svensk tandlægeeksamen

Efter 13 år i Sverige er 38-årige Daniela Diaz tæt på igen at kunne praktisere som tandlæge. Hun kom hertil fra Venezuela og har modtaget støtte gennem et hurtigsporsprogram ved KI og fra Tandvårdshuset i Borlänge.

Daniela Diaz kom til Sverige fra Venezuela i 2013. Hun havde allerede arbejdet som tandlæge i sit hjemland, men en svensk eksamen er påkrævet for at udøve erhvervet her. Hun beskriver processen som en lang kamp. Hun ser nu målet inden for rækkevidde takket være det unikke hurtigsporsprogram ved Karolinska Institutet og hjælp fra Tandvårdshuset i Borlänge.
