Borlänge kommune betaler kørekort til medarbejdere i hjemmeplejen

Omkring 20 ansatte i Borlänge kommunes hjemmepleje får betalt deres kørekort. Initiativet har til formål at muliggøre et mere effektivt arbejde og fastholde personalet.

Borlänge kommune tilbyder omkring 20 medarbejdere i hjemmeplejen muligheden for at erhverve et kørekort i deres fritid uden personlige omkostninger. Pakken har en værdi af 20.000 svenske kroner pr. person.

Driftsleder Mikael Sehlberg udtaler, at rekrutteringen hæmmes, fordi mange ansøgere ikke har et kørekort. Uden for byområder bliver en bil særligt vigtig.

Omställningsfonden finansierer uddannelsen. Omkring 10 personer er allerede gået i gang. Social- og sundhedsassistenter samt plejeassistenter udgør de primære målgrupper.

En af deltagerne, 31-årige Alexander Hedström, håber, at tiltaget vil tiltrække flere til faget.
