Strammere sprogkrav i ældreplejen fra 1. juli

Regeringen indfører en målsætning om udvidede sprogkrav i ældreplejen. Fra onsdag den 1. juli strammes serviceloven, så alt personale skal stile efter svenskkundskaber svarende til gymnasieniveau B2.

Alle enheder inden for ældreplejen skal tilstræbe, at medarbejderne har svenskkundskaber svarende til niveau B2. Formålet er at sikre, at personalet kan udføre deres arbejde selvstændigt og yde en god og tryg pleje.

Uppsala Kommune har i flere år arbejdet med sprogudviklende arbejdspladser. Kommunen gennemfører sprogtest og tilbyder uddannelse, digitale værktøjer samt har 170 medarbejdere, der fungerer som sprogstøtter.

– Vi foretager sprogtest og har mange initiativer for at give den rette støtte til den rette medarbejder, siger Rasmus Sundström, afdelingsleder for ældreplejen, som Uppsala Kommune driver i egenregi.
