Älvdalen kommune i kriseberedskab

Älvdalen kommune er gået i kriseberedskab på grund af personalemangel inden for pleje- og velfærdssektoren samt et stigende plejebehov op til sommeren.

Kommunen har offentliggjort beslutningen på sin hjemmeside. Kommunaldirektør Kristian Koivumäki udtaler, at situationen er udfordrende, men at fokus forbliver på at sikre en tryg pleje for borgerne. Årsagerne angives at være mangel på sygeplejersker og social- og sundhedsassistenter, flere borgere med behov for avanceret pleje samt kommunens øgede ansvar for hjemmeplejen. Kommunen iværksætter tiltag såsom ansættelse af vikarer, omfordeling af personale, gennemgang af ferieplaner og kortlægning af kompetencer. Kriseberedskabet betyder, at ressourcer koordineres for at muliggøre hurtigere beslutninger. Målet er, at alle borgere modtager den nødvendige pleje, eventuelt med prioritering baseret på medicinske behov.
