Uppsala Kommune forbereder aktivitetskrav for modtagere af økonomisk bistand

Fra 1. juli træder en ny lov i kraft, der kræver, at personer på økonomisk bistand skal deltage i fuldtidsaktiviteter. Uppsala Kommune forbereder sig nu på at tilbyde skræddersyede tiltag til omkring 1.000 personer.

Omkring 3.000 husstande i Uppsala modtager økonomisk bistand. Kommunen vurderer, at omkring 1.000 af dem mangler enhver form for beskæftigelse eller uddannelse.

Helena Clementson, direktør for Arbejdsmarkedsforvaltningen, siger, at kravet giver nye redskaber til at hjælpe flere mennesker med at opnå selvforsørgelse. Aktiviteterne vil blive tilpasset individuelle omstændigheder.

Socialstyrelsen og Sveriges Kommuner og Regioner udarbejder støttemateriale til kommunerne. Der gælder undtagelser i tilfælde af eksempelvis sygedagpenge eller opnået pensionsalder.
