Uppsala indfører forældrestøtte uden behovsvurdering fra august

Fra august 2026 vil forældre i Uppsala modtage hjælp fra forældrestøtter uden en forudgående behovsvurdering. Socialudvalget ønsker at gøre støtten mere tilgængelig for familier med anbragte børn eller familier i risiko.

Socialudvalget har besluttet at indføre forældrestøtter som et nyt tiltag. Forældre kan dermed modtage direkte hjælp uden først at skulle ansøge og få deres behov vurderet.

Indsatsen er en del af det netværkscenter, som udvalget besluttede i december 2025. Målet er at samle ekspertise til koordineret støtte til anbragte børn, deres netværk og biologiske forældre.

Hanna Victoria Mörck (V), formand for Socialudvalget, udtaler, at socialtjenestens støtte skal være let at få adgang til i en krise. Støtten omfatter krisehjælp, rådgivning om forældreskab, information om rettigheder samt hjælp til dokumenter og møder.

Det nye tiltag forventes at være tilgængeligt fra august 2026.
