Deputies from the Christian Democracy and PPD expressed annoyance on Monday after the Socialist Party bench announced it would file a claim before the Constitutional Tribunal over the tax invariance clause in the megareform.
The controversy arose after a morning meeting at the PS headquarters where opposition parties agreed to meet again on Thursday to evaluate filing a claim before the TC.
However, hours later the Socialist bench announced it would present the claim regarding the tax invariance of the project promoted by President José Antonio Kast's government.
DC president Álvaro Ortiz said there was no political agreement for that announcement and called for respecting institutional channels.
PPD president Raúl Soto accused an unnecessary disorder and warned that no bench has enough signatures to act partially.
