Dead Space 4 unlikely as sales numbers fall short says producer

Producer and writer Chuck Beaver has said a fourth Dead Space game is unlikely because the numbers do not add up. His comments come after creator Glen Schofield expressed hope for a new entry last year. The 2023 remake sold just over two million copies.

Speaking on an upcoming episode of the FRVR podcast Beaver explained that the sales figures for the series simply do not support another instalment. He noted that even after the Motive developed remake the studio was not greenlit for further projects.
