The Delhi government’s e-Office system is set to complete one year on July 1. User numbers have tripled since March 2025, with more than 1.44 lakh e-files processed.
The platform, made mandatory across Delhi government departments from July 1, 2025, now has 15,748 users across 235 departments, boards and educational institutions. This is up from 5,005 users in 198 departments in March 2025.
Over the period, the system processed 1.44 lakh electronic files and 9.22 lakh e-receipts. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the shift has improved tracking of files, made record-keeping more secure and reduced delays.
Regular use stands at 177 of 235 institutions, or 75.3 per cent. Among core departments the rate is 91 per cent. Separate versions of the platform exist for government departments, public sector undertakings and educational institutions.
