Diablo 4 season of death awakening launches june 30

Blizzard has detailed the upcoming Season of Death Awakening for Diablo 4, which begins on June 30 alongside patch 3.1.0. The season introduces Mythic Uniques 3.0 and several new features.

The season will feature a journey with 120 objectives across nine ranks, Ruptures mini-activities that spawn enemies via portals, a quest exploring the origins of a Death Cult, and a Solo Self Found Mode that blocks party joining and trading.

Pre-downloads for the update start June 25 at 6pm BST across Battle.net, PlayStation, and Xbox, but not Steam. A free Warlock class trial runs from June 30 to July 7, allowing players without the Lord of Hatred expansion to play the class up to level 30.

An Overwatch collaboration offers a free Reliquary battle pass with cosmetics and the first earnable dye in Diablo 4. Elite and Champion monsters drop Eye of the Overwatch currency for unlocks, though character skins remain store exclusives.
