Pop star Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Samsung. She accuses the company of using her image on television packaging without permission or payment. The suit alleges copyright infringement and unauthorized commercial exploitation.

Dua Lipa discovered the unauthorized use of her photograph around June 2025. The image appeared on cardboard packaging for Samsung TVs and was taken backstage at the Austin City Limits Festival in 2024. Despite repeated demands to cease the practice, the products remain on sale.
