Dushara Vijayan recalls childhood link to Madhavan's G.D. Naidu film

Dushara Vijayan posted on Instagram about her personal tie to the upcoming biopic G.D.N. The actor connected her school visits in Coimbatore to her role in the Madhavan-led project.

Dushara Vijayan took to Instagram on Sunday with photos from the trailer launch. She posed alongside Madhavan beside one of G.D. Naidu's early motorcycles.

In her caption she wrote about school trips to the G.D. Naidu Museum as a child in Coimbatore. "Growing up in Coimbatore, I remember school trips to the G.D. Naidu Museum—never imagining that one day, I would be part of bringing his story to life on screen," she noted.

The film, written and directed by Krishnakumar Ramkumar, stars Madhavan as the inventor known as the "Edison of India." It is slated to release in theatres on July 17 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Additional cast includes Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Priyamani, Vinay Rai, Aditi Balan and Yogi Babu. Dushara closed her post by telling fans they are "not ready for what you are about to witness."
