Emma Aicher sikrer tredjeplads i Courchevel slalom

Den tyske skikører Emma Aicher endte på tredjeplads i Courchevel slalom, hendes andet podium på tre dage. USA-stjernen Mikaela Shiffrin dominerede løbet til sin 105. verdenscupsejr. Aichers holdkammerat Lena Dürr styrtede i andet løb.

I slalomen under flomlys i Courchevel sikrede den 22-årige tyske Emma Aicher tredjeplads. Hun trailed kun den dominerende amerikanske skikører Mikaela Shiffrin og schweizeren Camille Rast. Shiffrin har nu 105 verdenscupsejre – inklusive 68 i slalom – og ledte Rast med over 1,5 sekunder. Aicher var 1,71 sekunder efter vinderen.

Tre dage tidligere vandt Aicher nedkørslen i St. Moritz foran Lindsey Vonn, før hun styrtede i super-G. Nu leverede hun endnu en stærk præstation i den tekniske disciplin. « Jeg kørte bare ski », sagde Aicher tørt i et ARD-interview. « Skikørslen går i den rigtige retning lige nu; jeg er bare tilfreds med det ».

Holdkammeraten Lena Dürr, 34, startede andet løb som nummer tre, men styrtede på grund af en fejl. Det var et tilbageslag efter hendes andenplads i Copper Mountain.

Den tidligere skikører Felix Neureuther roste Aichers indsats: « Jeg må tage hatten af for denne kvinde igen og igen ». Med tre podiumer denne olympiske vinter kaldte han det « sensationelt ». Aicher har ikke planer om at hvile og konkurrerer i fartdiscipliner i Val d'Isère næste weekend.
