FedEx driver killed in road rage shooting outside Florida hub

A FedEx driver was fatally shot seven times outside a distribution center in Riviera Beach, Florida, after a road rage encounter on Thursday evening. Tyler Brandon Vidro, 24, faces charges of first-degree murder and aggravated stalking in the death of Nathaniel Padgett. Authorities rejected Vidro's self-defense claim, citing his pursuit onto restricted property.

Nathaniel Padgett was driving a FedEx truck on Florida's Turnpike with his girlfriend when Tyler Brandon Vidro pulled alongside and gestured provocatively, according to a probable cause affidavit. Padgett ignored him and continued to the FedEx hub at 1177 West Blue Heron Blvd in Riviera Beach. Vidro followed into the private parking lot and confronted Padgett, accusing him of hitting his car, surveillance video showed. Padgett denied it and tried to leave, saying, 'What the f— are you gonna do, get the f— out of my face.'
