Feijóo criticizes Zapatero on El Hormiguero for whitening dictatorships and capitals

Alberto Núñez Feijóo attacked former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero on the program El Hormiguero hours after the latter testified before the judge at the Audiencia Nacional.

The PP leader stated that Zapatero is seeking to attribute the origin of the jewels under investigation to a deceased Arab sheikh. He directly linked this situation to the former leader's past by saying that whoever whitens a dictatorship can also whiten capitals.

Feijóo insisted that the PSOE will end up indicted and that Pedro Sánchez knew about Leire Díez's activities. Judge José Luis Calama considered that Zapatero's statement did not dispel the suspicions but did not impose precautionary measures.

The Galician politician took for granted that he will govern with Vox if election results require it and defended keeping the abortion time-limit law unchanged.
