Felipe Poeta, son of Patrícia Poeta, to remix Chico Buarque classics

Felipe Poeta Soares, known as PoetaNoBeat and son of presenter Patrícia Poeta, will lead a project remixing Chico Buarque songs in funk and trap styles. The effort partners with maestro Alê Siqueira and features urban artists like Xamã and MC Cabelinho. It aims to bring classic MPB repertoire to younger generations.

Felipe Poeta Soares, 23, is a DJ, music producer, and entrepreneur. Son of TV Globo presenter Patrícia Poeta and director Amauri Soares, he founded the Tha House Company label and performed at events like Tomorrowland in 2025. The project reinterpreting Chico Buarque's works was created with maestro Alê Siqueira, a Grammy winner who has worked with Elza Soares, Marisa Monte, and Chico Buarque himself. The album will feature funk and trap versions to connect classic MPB with younger audiences.

Confirmed guests include Xamã, MC Cabelinho, Budah, and Wiu, rising stars in Brazilian urban music. The effort blends tradition with modern beats in an innovative way.
