GMs Alireza Firouzja and Arjun Erigaisi reached the Winners Final of the 2026 Bullet Chess Championship after victories on Thursday.
Firouzja defeated GM Nihal Sarin 12.5-9.5 in a close match. Arjun defeated GM Andrew Tang 16-6.
The matches formed the Winners Semifinals of the event held on Chess.com. Firouzja took the lead early against Nihal but faced a strong comeback before securing the win.
Arjun recovered from an early 0-4 deficit against Tang. He won the final 11 games to complete the victory.
Day three of the tournament, which includes the Winners Final, is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
