Gangrel recalls spraying blood on Donald Trump at WWE show

Former WWE star Gangrel shared a story from a Madison Square Garden house show in which he sprayed fake blood onto Donald Trump during his entrance. The incident was arranged by Vince McMahon as a prank on both men.

Gangrel described the event on the podcast "Insight with Chris Van Vliet." He and Kane had been added last minute to a three-minute match. As he performed his signature blood spray, the crowd reacted strongly because Trump was seated nearby.

Trump moved closer to the barricade despite warnings from fans, placing himself in the path of the spray. A photo later published in WWE Magazine showed Trump ducking under a mist of the liquid.

Backstage, Gangrel learned what had happened and feared he would be fired. McMahon later told him the setup was intentional and expressed amusement at the outcome.

Gangrel said McMahon had placed Trump in that section and booked him on the show specifically to ensure the blood spray would occur.
