San Francisco Giants' Lee Jung-hoo recorded three hits including his second home run of the season in a 9-4 loss to the Miami Marlins. Batting sixth in right field, the 27-year-old South Korean hit a solo homer in the eighth inning. It marked his third three-hit game this year.
In the San Francisco Giants' game against the Miami Marlins at Oracle Park on April 25 (local time), Lee Jung-hoo went 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored while batting sixth and starting in right field. He singled in the second and sixth innings before hitting a solo home run over the right-field wall in the bottom of the eighth. The blast was his second of the season, coming 14 days after his previous one against the Baltimore Orioles on April 11.
Despite Lee's strong performance, the Giants could not overcome early deficits and lost 9-4. It was the South Korean outfielder's third three-hit game this year, boosting his season batting average to .275.
Elsewhere, Los Angeles Dodgers' Kim Hye-seong had two singles in three at-bats, scored a run, stole his fifth base, and raised his average to .351 in a 6-4 loss to the Chicago Cubs.
