Varmepumper er for første gang den mest almindelige opvarmningsform i Tyskland

Ifølge statistikker fra Institut der Deutschen Wirtschaft blev varmepumper for første gang installeret hyppigst i tyske boliger i 2025. Installationsraten nåede 1,9 procent og overgik dermed kedler baseret på fossile brændstoffer.

IW's evaluering viser, at 3,4 procent af de selvejerboliger moderniserede deres varmesystem i 2025. Heraf installerede 1,9 procent en varmepumpe, mens andelen for kedelanlæg faldt til 1,4 procent.

IW-ekspert Ralph Henger beskrev udviklingen som et reelt vendepunkt i fyrrummet. Årsagerne omfatter de aktuelt laveste opvarmningsomkostninger samt muligheden for nedkøling om sommeren.

Tendensen fortsætter også i nybyggeri. 73,6 procent af de 58.900 færdigbyggede boliger benytter primært varmepumper. Statslige tilskud til installation forventes at falde gradvist i de kommende år.
