The Hoy No Circula program operates normally this Monday, July 13, in Mexico City and the State of Mexico. Vehicles with a yellow sticker and license plates ending in 5 or 6 face driving restrictions from 5:00 to 22:00 hours.
The Ministry of the Environment confirmed the program applies without changes despite the end of the school year. Air quality reported as good the previous Sunday ruled out the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula.
Various vehicles are exempt, including motorcycles, electric cars, hybrids with 00 or 0 holograms, and those with antique car plates issued by the Mexico City Government. Agricultural tractors and construction machinery are also excepted.
Authorities recommend checking the official Mexico City website to verify specific restrictions based on each vehicle's sticker.
