HV71 has completed its coaching staff by hiring Stefan Klockare. The 57-year-old joins Niklas Eriksson and Nicklas Rahm on a two-year deal.
Klockare previously served as assistant coach for the Swedish national team Tre Kronor under Sam Hallam for four seasons. During that time he helped secure two World Championship bronze medals.
He also brings two Swedish Championship titles from his earlier work with Skellefteå. In his new role he will focus primarily on the forward group.
HV71 general manager Johan Hult said the club gains a leader with extensive experience who already knows his new colleagues well from previous collaborations in Örebro and with Tre Kronor.
The appointment was announced on 26 June.
