The 2026 Golden Trailer Awards nominations have been announced, with 'IT: Welcome to Derry' topping the field at nine nods. Disney leads studios with 144 nominations, followed by Warner Bros. Discovery with 79. The ceremony is scheduled for May 28 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.
'IT: Welcome to Derry' from HBO Max earned the most nominations with nine, outpacing Disney's top project FX’s 'Alien: Earth' with eight. Warner Bros. Discovery placed second among distributors with 79 nominations, while Netflix took third with 62, led by seven for 'Stranger Things.' Films 'Wuthering Heights' and 'Sinners' each received seven nominations. AV Squad leads agencies with 52 nods, followed by Tiny Hero, Requiem, and Zealot with 34 each. The awards, now in their 26th year, honor trailer creators, TV spots, posters, and campaigns. The event will be hosted by comedian Morgan Jay on May 28 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. Golden Trailer Awards executive director Evelyn Brady praised the nominations: “The breadth and depth of this year’s nominations highlight the vibrancy and creativity of our industry, not just in the projects themselves but in the trailers, TV spots and key art that bring them to life.” Executive producer Monica Brady added: “At the heart of every movie marketer is a movie fan who sees no shame in going to the theater just to watch the trailers. With such a diverse group of nominees, the true winners are the audiences, who now recognize a great trailer as a work of art in itself.” Nominees span 116 categories, including Best Action, Best Horror, and Best Foreign Trailer.
