New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday. The appearance came during an off day for the team ahead of a series against the Guardians.
Chisholm discussed a May 15 game against the Mets in which he wore Giancarlo Stanton's pants and ended a slump. He recalled asking Stanton, “Let me use your pants today. I can’t find the pants I’m looking for,” noting it happened at the last second. The conversation also covered Chisholm's status as one of the few Jordan brand athletes in Major League Baseball. He shared a childhood story from the Bahamas in which Michael Jordan told him, “Make me want your autograph one day, kid,” during a celebrity softball game. Chisholm spoke about his grandmother's softball games in the Bahamas and the work of the Jazz Chisholm Jr. Foundation, which supports children in situations similar to his own upbringing.
