Kalmar HC has completed the signing of defenseman Kim Johansson from Finnish Liiga club Jukurit. The move ends a period of speculation surrounding the player.
Johansson has agreed to a two-year deal with the HockeyAllsvenskan side. He recorded 47 points in 96 games across two seasons with Jukurit.
Daniel Stolt, speaking on the club's website, highlighted the new arrival's experience and skating ability. Johansson previously played 288 HockeyAllsvenskan games and 44 SHL matches, winning an SM silver with Luleå in 2022.
Johansson said the club's forward ambitions were the main attraction. He will join Kalmar HC ahead of the coming seasons.
