Katie Thurston shares positive liver cancer update

Katie Thurston received good news in her stage 4 breast cancer battle. Doctors found no evidence of disease in her liver. The Bachelorette star shared the update on her Boobie Broadcast channel.

The 35-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in February 2025. It had spread to her liver by March 2025. Her latest tests showed a great response to treatment. Thurston wrote: “Liver update: no evidence of disease!!” A PET scan is scheduled for the end of the month. She noted elevated enzyme levels still require monitoring after her double mastectomy earlier this year. Thurston is married to Jeff Arcuri. She previously told People she wants to do everything possible to increase her chances of staying alive. “I refuse to call it a terminal illness,” she said. She added that some days bring reminders of the hardest chapter of her life. Thurston thanked friends, family, and her community for support.
