Keke Palmer has been dating Sean Evans since they were first spotted in mid-June. The 32-year-old actress described their connection as authentic during an appearance on Today with Jenna and Sheinelle.
"Our chemistry is genuine. I couldn’t force that if I tried," she said. Palmer added that the pair felt the spark from their first work meeting but was stunned by how quickly fans imagined a wedding.
"I was gagged that everybody was ready to marry me off," she noted. "I was like, ‘Guys, let it cook!’" The star also mentioned fans asking about the relationship at the airport and stressed the need to let things unfold naturally.
Palmer, who shares three-year-old son Leo with ex Darius Jackson, hopes her child learns to embrace change and happiness.
